Jeffrey Cohen is the managing partner of the workers’ rights firm, McTeague HIgbee. He concentrates his practice mainly in the areas of workers’ compensation, personal injury, and appellate practice. Jeff frequently lectures to various professional groups on workers’ compensation and occupational disease. His peers have selected him for inclusion in the 2014 Best Lawyers in America for his work in workers’ compensation. He is a Colby College graduate who received his law degree, cum laude, from New York Law School, where he served as Associate Editor of the New York Law School Law Review. He was appointed Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C. and is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Maine, as well as the First Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and is a member of the Maine State Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. Jeff is dedicated to making certain that injured workers and accident victims are fully compensated for their losses and are treated with dignity and respect.
